English title: Requirements for practice orientation in the National School Leadership Program in Norway: How is this addressed on the providers’ websites?

A key requirement for the National School Leadership Program in Norway is that it should use a practice-oriented approach to leadership learning. In this article, we explore how the concept of practice orientation can be understood. Secondly, we investigate how the providers of the National School Leadership Program on their websites explain how they will be fostering practice orientation. Findings from the study show that there are great variations in how providers address the requirement of practice orientation and what learning methods they signal to use. A study of websites may not reflect how this is actually done by the individual provider, but the websites are interesting because they are assumed to constitute a central information base for the students’ choice of the place to study.
